Please log into your Shopify admin panel and go to Settings. All further modifications will be performed there:

Let us first show you how to change timezone in your store.

1. In the General section scroll down to the Standards and formats.

2. Under Timezone use the drop-down menu to select a new timezone:

Now let us guide you how to change unit system.

In this section of your admin, you can change whether your shop uses the Imperial system (pounds, inches) or the Metric system (kilograms, centimeters).

1. Under Unit system use the drop-down menu to select a new unit system:

Now let us change Default Weight Unit.

There are four default weight units that you can choose from:

• Pounds (lb) – Imperial system;
• Ounces (oz) – Imperial system;
• Kilograms (kg) – Metric system;
• Grams (g) – Metric system;

1. Under Default Weight Unit choose the weight unit that is most appropriate for your business.

   This is just the default value, and it can be edited on a product by product basis later on:
